Be seen and heard at Queer Cab

Queer Cab is Buddies' all-ages, monthly open mic for queer youth. Queer Cab takes place the third Wednesday of every month, from September to June. Each month there's a different special guest host and different theme.

What's Involved?

We’ll give you 5 minutes. We've got a bare stage, a microphone, a CD player, a video projector and a piano – and you’ve got the talent! Come show us what you can do. Performer sign up is at 7:30; show starts at 8 pm.

Anything goes at Queer Cab

Every month is a different show, depending on what YOU bring to it. Music, spoken word, monologues, dance, drag, songs, scenes, stand-up, burlesque, videos, magic tricks, performance art, juggling, rants…we’ve seen it all at Queer Cab. If you want to use the “theme of the month” to inspire your creation, that’s great. Or, you can perform something totally unrelated to the theme, and that’s cool too.

Queer Cab is a great place to try out something new, showcase your stuff, get inspired, and to meet other young queer artists.
