Do you reserve tickets?

No. Tickets ordered by telephone must be paid for at the time of the booking.

Where do I pick up my tickets?

Pre paid tickets can be picked up in advance at the box office during regular hours or on the day of the performance.

Is there a service charge?

Yes. $2.00 per ticket for telephone orders.


Can I exchange my tickets?

Yes. Ticket exchanges are allowed through our box office.
Exchanges are subject to availability.
A $2.00 administration fee will be applied to each
ticket exchanged. Additional charges may apply.

What is your refund policy?

No refunds.

When do your doors open?

The lobby opens 1 hour prior to the performance.
The theatre opens ½ hour prior.

Do you admit latecomers?

Each production has a different latecomer policy. Please contact the box office: 416.975.8555 for show specific details.

Where is your theatre located?

Buddies is located at 12 Alexander St. on a one-way street off of Yonge St. and just north of Carlton St. View map

Is there parking nearby?

There is city owned parking directly across the street from our theatre behind the Courtyard Marriott hotel. Also, a smaller lot is located on the west side of our venue just off the laneway.

Are there restaurants nearby?

Buddies is in the heart of downtown Toronto and there are loads of great restaurants in the surrounding area. View the local Google listings or check out our local free newspapers such as Xtra or Now for the latest reviews.

Are your shows family appropriate?

Many of our performances deal with mature themes. To get more information on the content of our productions, please speak to a box office representative: 416.975.8555.

Is the theatre wheelchair accessible?

Yes. Buddies in Bad Times Theatre is fully accessible.

Do subscribers get priority seating?

Yes. One of the perks to becoming a subscriber to our theatre is reserved seating.

Do you offer gift certificates?

Yes! We offer gift certificates in several denominations: $10, $25, $50 and $100. Call our Box office: 416.975.8555 for more information.

Do you offer question & answer sessions?

Certain performances offer the added feature of a post show Q&A as an option to student groups of 10 or more. If interested in a Q&A, please request one at the time of your booking, as they must be pre-booked and are subject to availability.
